Molise, Italy

This region is known to be found in the Southern part of Italy, close to Campania and Apulia. Molise is known to be one of the smallest regions in Italy as well as the underrated region when it comes to food and cuisine.

Molise got its name after the fall of Rome; the region’s name is also the name of a castle and the name of a local warlord family.

As of 2019, the population of Molise is 305,617 people and the capital of this region is Campobasso.
